Cake Stand
I had an idea of what I wanted for a cake stand...glass and elevated.
I found square vases at the Dollar Tree so I have 8 of them to hold up the glass to support the cake, but that alone would have been boring - it needed something more.
The decision I left up to Jeff was candy or lights? He chose lights so we got some Aqua Gems from Joanne's and waterproof white LED lights to fill the vases. Top it off with the glass and our cake stand will light up and give our cake a little extra touch.

Above:
The LED lights we are using in the cake stand
Upper Right:
The Aqua Gems are the name of the polymer that we are using to give the cake stand a bit of color since white LED lights were easier to find than the fuchsia and orange
Bottom Right:
This is a picture of the before and after of the Aqua Gems. So one bag does go quite a ways I used 1/4 of the bag and you can see what that gave me to use.
