Flower Girl Baskets
The main supplies needed
I found gift boxes at Target in the Dollar Spot that looked about the size and shape I wanted for the flower girl baskets. The price seemed right so I bought 4 to experiment with.
Supplies:
I cut off the purple ribbon and started painting. It did take a few coats to make sure it was white and I used the sponge type brushes to leave it looking slightly textured. Once the outside and inside were thoroughly coated I cut my ribbons, layered (sheer fuschia behind and solid orange in front) and strung them through. Once tied I trimmed the ribbon and coated with clear nail polish to prevent it from fraying.
Supplies:
- Gift Box ($1 each)
- Sponge paint brush ($2 for 4 brushes)
- White acrylic paint ($1 on sale at Micheal's)
- Fuschia and orange ribbon I had on hand
- Scissors to cut the current ribbon off
- Clear nail polish to coat the ends of the ribbon to prevent fraying
